The Teachers are Coming, The Teachers are Coming

Where are we with opening the doors of Black Alchemy School of Holistic Herbalism?

We are so close.

Thank you so much for subscribing and joining us to stay up to date. This is a mighty undertaking and as it gets harder, I'm more and more sure that is prolific.

There are so many things to share, but I want to start with that there will be 3 ways to engage at BASHH. Clinical, Pre-Clinical, and Audit.

The Clinical journey is rigorous, but doable without prior learning. If you are not ready to dive headfirst into clinical study, then the Pre-Clinical journey may be for you. Students will prepare for the following Clinical cohort or can walk away ready to practice as a community herbalist. Either way, You'll have the support of us, your ancestors and spirits, and the plants to guide you through. We'll talk more about the audit track at our info session.

Speaking of, we will be hosting an live gathering to talk more about the school, our values, and how BASHH can support your herbal studies. This is were we need your help.

What are your questions? What are you wondering about as you consider joining BASHH or supporting the work? Hit reply and let me know. This will help shape our the information we share.

Every single contribution counts, no matter how much it is. Contributions directly translate to scholarships, increased teacher compensation, and operating expenses. Even if you can't, still share the link. Those funds make sure we can get the school rolling with ease.

Positionality let's people know how the place you occupy and your intersections influence your work. In academic spaces, this means research. But as an herbalist, it means how you relate to the plants. How you relate to your clients and community. How you share information. What about your place guides the...

This week, students were sent their supply lists, me and Kristin worked more on the schedule, and teachers are locking in to create classes that I dreamed about in herb school. I AM EXCITED. It is not too late to enroll. Circumstances change, so seats have opened up in Clinical and Pre-Clinical...

You Coming?

Infrequent Newsletter July 12, 2026 Enrollment has been enrolling at BASHH. And you can still join us. What a time. I would be a lie if I said that this has been an easy journey. Between nonstop meetings, doing the marketing, admin, and enrolling students, working freelance and a part time job...it has been exhausting. But is every second of it worth each time an herbalist calls BASHH home? ABSOLUTELY. A few seats have opened up in the Clinical program and Pre-Clinical has some too. I dare...
